Jesus is a Different Teacher

From the beginning, Jesus appeared to be a different kind of rabbi. He seemed to disregard the many customary laws that defined proper behavior for the Jewish people. He put people before laws. His "new way" was forgiving and kind. Jesus came as a friend to people on the outside, people suspected of not being pure, people most religious leaders disliked.

Jesus's purpose on earth was not to condemn, but to save people. He came to give us Grace through faith, everyone who believes in Him has their sins forgiven, in other words, is "born again in spirit" and have eternal life.

Jesus showed his mercy and kindness through many miracles that he performed; one of them was the paralytic man. The Bible says that this paralytic man was carried by four men, Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man "son, your sins are forgiven." When the Jews heard this, they started asking why was Jesus saying that he could forgive sins? And Immediately Jesus healed the man.
As Jesus went on from there, he saw Matthew, a tax collector and told him " follow me" and Matthew got up and followed Him. Many tax collectors and sinners followed Jesus and when the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples: " why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?" Jesus said to them, " it is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but the sinners."
The Jews were expecting a Messiah to come, but they wanted someone different. They were expecting someone to set them free from political oppression. However, Jesus's purpose was so much deeper, his intentions more significant and his kingship infinitely more glorious than what the people expected. They had to learn the true meaning of the word "Messiah" Anointed one. They had to discover who Jesus really was. Only then would they have his okay to spread the Good News.

Many people were disappointed because Jesus's works hadn't brought the results that they expected, They needed to Change their idea about the Messiah. We need to discover who Jesus really is before we can be set free.

Many people believe they need to be perfect before they can join a church and accept Jesus; they think that they need to get rid of an addiction or something else. Nevertheless, the truth is that Jesus came to set us free meaning that we need to accept his gift of Grace, like said to the tax collector " follow me" and the tax collector got up and followed Jesus, the same thing he is saying to you today "follow me", and He will transform you, and He will fix all that need to be fix in our hearts because he has the power to do it.
There are many things that we can learn from these stories, Jesus really taught us how to live, to have kindness and compassion for others and be humble. He came to care for people, to heal the sick, the lame, the blind, to clean those with leprosy, the deaf, to raise the dead and to proclaim the good news of salvation to the poor.
Do you really know Jesus? Or have you made your own judgment by what you have heard others saying about Him? I invite you to say yes to Him and ask him to reveal to you who he really is.
Jesus came to love people to care and show us compassion. He came to set an example for us to follow so that all His disciples around the world can spread the good news of freedom and forgiveness and the new beginning that is available in him by faith.
He came to teach us how to live: to care and have compassion for others, to bring hope, to give us an opportunity to repent and turn away from sin and follow him. Sadly, many people still go around condemning others, and feeling they're better than others, just like the Pharisees. However, that is not what Jesus taught us, and we should repent and turn away from that wrong way of living.

“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
